1. Scope and role of Findit
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Findit marketplace, website, app, booking tools, listings, checkout flows, community-linked marketplace tools, wallet/payment interfaces, review tools, AI/localization tools, and related services operated by Findit Sp. z o.o. Findit operates as an online intermediary marketplace and technology platform. Unless Findit expressly states otherwise for a specific service, Findit is not the seller, buyer, employer, employee, payroll provider, visa sponsor, workplace supervisor, landlord, tenant, real estate broker, transport provider, courier, event organizer, restaurant, food operator, professional adviser, currency-exchange provider, payment institution, bank, insurer, or immigration representative. Recruitment-related Platform functions are additionally governed by the Employer & Employment Agency Terms and applicable mandatory law.
2. Definitions and interpretation
"Platform" means the Findit website, application, APIs and related marketplace, listing, community, booking, review and support tools operated by Findit Sp. z o.o.. "Customer" means a person who browses, enquires, books or buys. "Provider" or "Seller" means the person identified in a Listing as offering the relevant goods or services. "Business User" means a person acting for purposes relating to a trade, business, craft or profession. "Private Seller" means a person acting outside such purposes. "Contractual Supplier" means the party identified in the Listing and, where applicable, at checkout as responsible for supplying the relevant goods or services. "Listing" means an offer, advertisement, directory entry or other publication on the Platform.
Headings assist navigation and do not limit a clause. Words such as "including" are illustrative and not exhaustive. Mandatory law prevails over any inconsistent provision, and references to a feature apply only when that feature is enabled for the relevant Listing and location.
3. Eligibility, capacity and trader status
Users must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter the relevant contract, unless a specific feature lawfully permits another arrangement. Registration details must be accurate and kept current. A person acting for a business confirms authority to bind that business.
Every person offering goods or services must classify themselves accurately as a trader, other Business User, or Private Seller and update that classification when circumstances change. The Platform may request evidence. Consumer protections that apply to purchases from traders may not apply in the same way to a transaction with a Private Seller, and the trader/private status must be displayed where required.
4. User categories and account responsibility
The platform may be used by consumers, unregistered casual providers, sole traders, companies, employers, landlords, agencies, restaurants, transport operators, event organizers, and other business users. Each user must classify their activity honestly and update that status when their activity changes. A user relying on Polish unregistered activity rules or similar exemptions in another country remains responsible for staying within all applicable revenue, frequency, tax, licensing, consumer-law, labor-law, sanitary, and public-safety limits. Some categories may require registration, permits, insurance, or licenses even for home-based or small-scale activity.
5. Account security and single profile rule
Each natural person or business may maintain only one active profile unless Findit gives written permission. Duplicate accounts used to manipulate reviews, promotions, visibility, listing caps, sanctions, wallet controls, or trust signals may be merged, restricted, or terminated. Users are responsible for login credentials, staff access, connected devices, and all actions performed through their accounts.
6. Provider, staff, and subcontractor liability
A primary business account holder is responsible for staff, subcontractors, assistants, drivers, couriers, cooks, technicians, stylists, cleaners, translators, and other attached team profiles operating through the account. To the extent permitted by law, the primary account holder is jointly and severally responsible for platform breaches, customer harm, regulatory violations, unlawful employment status, misleading claims, review manipulation, off-platform routing, payment disputes, and safety issues caused by attached team profiles.
7. Listings and category compliance
Users must ensure that listings, profiles, prices, photos, availability, qualifications, licenses, safety disclosures, tax status, and service descriptions are accurate and not misleading. Findit may remove, hide, downgrade, or require evidence for listings that create legal, safety, fraud, consumer-protection, or platform-integrity risk. Regulated categories may require additional declarations or documentation before publication or payout.
8. Feature, location and payment availability
Platform features, categories, payment methods, booking options and availability may differ by country, city, user type, supplier type, approval status or category. A feature displayed elsewhere on the Platform is not necessarily available for every Listing or location. The specific Listing, checkout or enquiry screen determines which functions are currently available for that transaction.
9. Product safety and traceability
Traders offering consumer products must provide the manufacturer, responsible economic operator where required, product identification, warnings, recall information and other safety or traceability information required by applicable product law. Unsafe, recalled, counterfeit or non-compliant goods are prohibited. Findit may prevent publication, request evidence, disable an offer, notify affected users and cooperate with Safety Gate, market-surveillance or other competent authorities where legally required.
10. Food, home kitchen, Sanepid, and allergen rules
Any user offering cooked meals, private dining, catering, meal prep, baked goods, restaurant food, grocery items, African-shop food items, or other food-related services warrants that they comply with applicable sanitary, food-safety, allergen, storage, labeling, tax, and business-registration obligations, including Sanepid or other competent authority requirements where applicable. Findit is not a food business operator, caterer, restaurant, kitchen inspector, food delivery company, or health-certification authority. Findit does not guarantee that a home cook has a licensed kitchen, sanitary approval, medical check, or allergen-safe process unless a specific verification is shown on that provider profile. Food listings must include accurate ingredients, allergen hazards, preparation/storage information where relevant, and any required disclosures. Findit may block high-risk foods and remove incomplete food listings.
11. Beauty, wellness, repairs, domestic services, and professional services
Providers offering hair, barbering, nail services, beauty, wellness, cleaning, repairs, construction, tutoring, consulting, relocation support, translation help, or other home-based or professional services are solely responsible for lawful qualifications, hygiene practices, product safety, insurance, consumer disclosures, confidentiality, and safe service performance. Findit does not supervise service performance inside homes, salons, vehicles, offices, event spaces, or third-party premises. Customers use provider services at their own judgment, subject to non-waivable legal rights.
12. Order formation and paid buttons
A paid order, booking, service reservation, or marketplace transaction is formed only when the user completes the relevant checkout or booking flow and confirms a payment obligation through a clearly labelled button or equivalent action, such as Buy and Pay, Book and Pay, or another unambiguous payment confirmation. Before a paid order is placed, the user must be shown the main characteristics of the offer, the provider or seller identity where required, the total price or price calculation method, applicable platform fees, payment method, withdrawal/cancellation information, delivery/service restrictions where relevant, and the documents incorporated into the transaction.
13. Contract formation, confirmation and payment status
The Contractual Supplier is identified in the Listing and, where payment is enabled, at checkout. A booking request or enquiry is not accepted until the supplier confirms it unless the flow clearly states immediate acceptance. A payable order is confirmed only after the Platform receives reliable server-side confirmation from the payment provider; a browser return page alone does not prove payment.
The user should receive confirmation on a durable medium showing the supplier, essential characteristics, total price, fees, payment status, cancellation or withdrawal information, and the applicable terms. Transaction-specific terms prevail over general descriptions only for that transaction and subject to mandatory law.
14. Ranking, recommendations and sponsored placement
Organic ranking may take account of relevance, location, availability, rating, response time, verification level, Listing completeness and recency. The relative importance may vary by surface and query. Paid influence is labelled, for example as Sponsored, Featured, Promoted or Advertisement, and must not be presented as organic ranking. A badge or prominent position is not a guarantee or endorsement.
15. Platform service fee
Where Findit charges a platform, booking, advertising, subscription or transaction fee, the applicable amount, calculation method, allocation and taxes must be displayed in the relevant dashboard, commercial offer, Listing or checkout before the user becomes bound. A fee shown in an older document, promotional page or another country does not apply unless it is also shown or incorporated into the relevant transaction.
Findit may configure a fee to be paid by a Provider, a Customer, or shared, but the total payable by a consumer and the identity of the party responsible for invoicing must be presented clearly before payment. No hidden fee may be added after the order is placed except a charge expressly authorised by the user or required by law.
16. Payments, provider balances and lawful set-off
Online payment, if available, is processed by the licensed payment provider identified at checkout and is subject to that provider's terms and checks. Findit does not accept deposits, issue electronic money, operate a bank account for users, or act as an independent escrow agent unless the relevant authorisation and service are expressly identified in the transaction flow.
A Platform balance or ledger is an operational record, not a bank deposit or guaranteed stored-value account. Findit may instruct a proportionate refund, reserve, reversal or set-off only where the applicable contract, payment-provider rules and law permit it, and only for amounts reasonably connected with the relevant transaction or account. Undisputed amounts should not be withheld longer than reasonably necessary.
17. No-show and last-minute cancellation indemnity
If a provider cancels a confirmed booking without an allowed reason, materially prevents performance, or fails to appear for a scheduled service slot, the provider is responsible for making the customer whole for platform service fees that were pushed to or shared with the customer for that affected booking. Findit may deduct the refunded platform-fee amount, direct reversal costs, and chargeback costs from the provider wallet where proportionate and connected to the affected transaction. The provider may submit evidence of force majeure, customer fault, duplicate booking, platform error, or other justified non-performance.
18. Anti-circumvention and protocol protection
A client, lead, booking request, quote request, renewal opportunity, or customer relationship originally sourced, discovered, introduced, quoted, or converted through Findit must be routed back through Findit for repeat slots, renewals, rebookings, and substantially connected follow-up appointments within the same service relationship where Findit provides the relevant booking flow. Users may not use hidden phone numbers, private payment links, bank transfer instructions, external checkout links, coded messages, NFC redirects, QR codes, or other off-platform routing designed to evade platform fees, review verification, tax reporting, customer protection, or settlement controls. Intentional protocol skipping may be treated as a material platform-integrity breach. Findit may remove offending content, restrict booking functions, hold wallet amounts reasonably connected to the breach, recover unpaid fees, or terminate repeat offenders with safeguards required by law.
19. Community-to-marketplace conversion
If a Community discussion becomes a paid booking, product sale, food order, room rental, ride, luggage-carry arrangement, event ticket, professional service or other commercial transaction, the parties must use the appropriate Listing, booking, checkout, review or Provider flow where that flow is enabled for the category and location.
Users must not use Community channels to evade Provider onboarding, trader identification, applicable fees, tax reporting, review verification, category declarations, regulated-payment checks or available transaction and safety controls. Where no approved commercial flow exists, Findit may require an enquiry-only Listing, restrict the activity or decline publication.
20. Reviews, NFC cards, and rating integrity
Users may not self-review, coordinate review rings, purchase reviews, trade discounts for reviews, threaten negative reviews for improper concessions, or use Findit review NFC cards, QR codes, short links, or landing pages to generate fake, duplicate, coerced, or non-transactional reviews. Findit may invalidate suspicious reviews, block review publication pending verification, remove manipulated ratings, suspend NFC card use, restrict visibility, suspend payout amounts connected to proven review fraud, or terminate repeat offenders.
21. Trust badges and verification labels
A Findit verified badge, trust mark, profile score, ranking position, review count, identity check, or trusted label means only the specific verification described on-screen. Unless expressly stated, it does not certify professional competence, legal licensing, insurance, Sanepid approval, landlord ownership, immigration authority status, restaurant safety, transport licensing, solvency, or absence of risk. Users must perform their own checks before hiring, buying, renting, riding, eating, transferring value, attending events, or relying on professional guidance.
22. Jobs, recruitment and Talent Search
Employers, recruiters and agencies using Findit must comply with applicable labour, employment, right-to-work, tax, workplace-safety, anti-discrimination, privacy and recruitment-agency rules. Job advertisements must concern genuine opportunities and must not request unlawful candidate fees or make false job, visa or work-permit guarantees. Employer and agency accounts are additionally governed by the Employer & Employment Agency Terms, including the Talent Search Rules where that feature is used.
Unless expressly identified otherwise and subject to applicable law, Findit provides technology for publishing, discovering and managing recruitment information and communications and is not the employer, payroll provider, visa sponsor or workplace supervisor. Employers and agencies remain responsible for their vacancies, recruitment decisions, candidate processing and any registration or authorisation required for their activity. Findit may review, restrict or remove recruitment content or access where necessary for candidate safety, compliance or platform integrity.
23. Housing, rooms, sublets, and accommodation
Housing listings, temporary room leasing, summer sublets, room swaps, couch stays, shared rooms, and accommodation posts are user-generated housing offers. The poster warrants that they have the legal right to offer the space and that the offer complies with the lease, landlord consent, building rules, tax duties, local housing law, tenant protections, safety rules, and anti-discrimination law. Findit is not the landlord, tenant, broker, property manager, deposit holder, insurer, guarantor, or legal adviser. Findit does not verify habitability, ownership, sublease permission, rent legality, deposit handling, roommate behavior, utilities, safety, or eviction risk unless a specific paid verification product says otherwise.
24. Transport, ride sharing, luggage space, and tickets
Peer ride sharing is limited to lawful coordination and cost sharing. Users may not operate an unlicensed taxi, bus, airport shuttle, courier, passenger transport, freight, or delivery business through Findit. Drivers and transport providers must hold valid driving rights, vehicle registration, insurance, and all required permissions. Luggage-space posts are high-risk. Users must not carry sealed unknown packages, controlled goods, narcotics, prescription medicines, tobacco, alcohol, weapons, cash bundles, identity documents, animals, perishable food, counterfeit goods, customs-restricted goods, or commercial parcels unless legally permitted and properly declared. Bus, train, airport shuttle, ticketing, or commercial transport integrations are technical routing or resale interfaces to licensed carriers or ticket partners unless Findit expressly identifies itself as the transport provider.
25. Money exchange, remittance, cash swaps, loans, and crypto
Users must not use Listings, profiles, Community posts, comments or chats to arrange unlicensed currency exchange, cash swaps, remittance, crypto trades, loans, salary advances, investment pooling, payment-card use, bank-account rental, mule accounts, deposit taking or another regulated or unlawful financial activity.
Any financial feature that Findit may introduce must be separately approved, accurately described and operated through appropriately authorised providers and compliance controls. The appearance of a generic payment or messaging feature does not authorise financial intermediation between users.
26. Events, tickets, parties, meetups, and podcasts
Event organizers and publishers are solely responsible for permits, venue safety, capacity limits, age restrictions, alcohol rules, music and copyright licensing, ticket terms, refunds, privacy releases, recording consent, defamation, advertising disclosures, and public-safety obligations. Findit is not the event organizer, venue operator, security provider, promoter, broadcaster, publisher, editor, ticket guarantor, or insurer unless expressly identified as such.
27. Foreign business directory and professional referrals
The foreign business directory is an advertising and discovery directory. Shops, restaurants, agencies, recruiters, landlords, accountants, translation helpers, relocation providers, and other listed businesses remain responsible for licenses, permits, product safety, food safety, advertising accuracy, pricing, consumer rights, tax obligations, staff work status, and professional authorizations. Directory placement, sponsored ranking, verification, or premium promotion is not an endorsement of legality, quality, safety, ownership, solvency, qualifications, or suitability.
28. AI assistant, translation, and generated outputs
AI translations, listing suggestions, bureaucratic summaries, localized marketing text, and relocation guidance are assistive outputs. They do not replace sworn translation, professional legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, immigration representation, tax advice, or public-authority guidance. Public listing text, provider menus, product feeds, service descriptions, price lists, availability data, and storefront text may be hosted, formatted, translated, categorized, analyzed, and adapted for platform operation, search, localization, fraud prevention, and expat-focused marketing.
29. Responsibility for AI-generated and translated content
AI-generated descriptions, translations, summaries, classifications and other automated outputs may contain errors. The user, Provider or advertiser must review and approve content before publication and remains responsible for its accuracy, lawfulness and suitability. Findit may label or technically mark generated or materially manipulated content where required. Users must disclose synthetic or manipulated media when law, safety or context requires it and must not use AI to impersonate, defraud, fabricate evidence or evade moderation.
30. User-generated content license and intellectual property
By uploading listing text, photos, menus, reviews, messages, event details, directory entries, or other content, the user grants Findit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, translate, format, analyze, moderate, and promote that content for operation of the platform and related marketing, subject to privacy law and non-waivable rights. Users must not upload content they do not have the right to use, including copyrighted media, watermarked commercial photos, personal data without consent, defamatory content, or illegal content.
31. Moderation, restrictions, and evidence preservation
Findit may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend functions, block payments, preserve records, or terminate accounts where proportionate and connected to suspected fraud, unsafe listings, illegal work, food-safety risk, financial crime, harassment, review manipulation, fee bypass, authority request, payment risk, or serious breach. Where required by law, users may receive reasons, complaint routes, human review, or appeal mechanisms. Immediate temporary action may be taken for urgent safety, fraud, chargeback, AML, law-enforcement, or public-interest risks.
32. Notice-and-action, reasons and appeal
Anyone may report suspected illegal or prohibited content through the available report tool or by contacting Findit. A notice should identify the content, explain the concern and provide contact details and evidence where appropriate. Findit may request clarification and will assess sufficiently precise notices without undue delay.
Where required, Findit will provide a statement of reasons for content or account restrictions and an accessible internal complaint route. Decisions made with automated assistance remain subject to human review where required. Urgent temporary measures may be taken for safety, fraud, payment risk or legal compliance while review continues.
33. Evidence preservation
Where content, a transaction, communication or account is reported, disputed, restricted or appealed, Findit may preserve relevant versions, communications, technical records and submitted evidence for the period reasonably required to investigate, handle an appeal, protect users, establish or defend legal claims, comply with a legal hold or meet applicable obligations. Access, security and retention remain subject to the Privacy Policy and law.
34. Liability and lawful limitations
Findit is responsible for its own obligations under applicable law. Unless Findit is expressly identified as the Contractual Supplier, it does not undertake the Provider's performance obligations and is not responsible merely because a user arranged an offline interaction through the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Findit is not liable to a Business User for indirect or consequential business loss, loss of opportunity or loss of anticipated profit that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. For direct claims by a Business User arising from an accidental Platform failure, aggregate liability may be limited to the fees actually retained by Findit from that Business User during the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
No exclusion or cap applies to unpaid amounts that Findit is required to remit, fraud or wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot be excluded, breach of data-protection obligations to the extent liability cannot lawfully be limited, or any consumer or other right that mandatory law protects.
35. Consumer rights, withdrawal, and complaints
Consumers retain all mandatory Polish and EU consumer rights. Certain categories may be exempt from withdrawal rights after performance, customization, unsealing, hygiene-related use, dated services, perishables, or other statutory exceptions. Any applicable withdrawal or cancellation rules must be shown before checkout. Users may contact Findit support through the app or website for complaints, disputes, notices, or platform issues. Internal mediation does not remove mandatory consumer rights or access to competent authorities or courts.
36. Withdrawal, conformity remedies and refunds
For most distance contracts with a trader, a consumer ordinarily has 14 days to withdraw, subject to the statutory starting point and exceptions. Services may begin during that period only after the required express request; full performance may end the withdrawal right only where the required consent, information and acknowledgement have been obtained. Goods, digital content, dated services, perishables, personalised items and hygiene-sensitive products may be subject to specific rules or exceptions.
Withdrawal is distinct from statutory remedies for goods, digital content or services that do not conform to the contract. No short Platform complaint window removes those rights. A trader responsible for a consumer refund must meet the applicable statutory deadline and use the required payment method unless the consumer agrees otherwise without additional cost.
37. Business-user fairness and complaint handling
Where the P2B Regulation applies, Findit will make contractual terms available on a durable medium, describe principal ranking parameters and paid influence, identify grounds for restriction or termination, and provide the notice and statement of reasons required by law. An affected Business User may use the internal complaint route shown in the Platform. Mediation information will be provided where legally required and applicable to Findit's enterprise size and service.
38. General legal provisions and contact
If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Users may not assign an account or contract without consent where consent is reasonably required; Findit may assign its rights and obligations as part of a lawful restructuring or transfer with required notice. Electronic notices may be sent to the account email or in-app inbox.

39. Changes, country modules, and governing law
Findit may update these Terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons. Consumers will receive the notice required by applicable law. Business Users will ordinarily receive at least 15 days' notice of changes that affect their contractual relationship, unless a shorter period is permitted for a legal obligation, urgent cybersecurity risk, fraud prevention, or another exception under applicable law. Changes are not retroactive unless required by law or beneficial to the affected user.
Polish law governs these Terms, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection available in the country of habitual residence. Disputes may be brought before courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. Consumers may also use a competent consumer alternative-dispute-resolution body. The discontinued EU ODR platform is not presented as an available complaint channel.
Country- or category-specific terms may supplement these Terms. If a translation conflicts with the approved English or Polish controlling version identified at publication, the controlling version prevails subject to mandatory law.
